You'd multiply the denominator (6) to both sides to get rid of it, if it was an equation it'd look like
y/6 = 9
*6. *6
y = 54

1) Multiply both sides by 6.
y ≤ 9 × 6
2) Simplify 9 × 6 to 54
So,
y ≤ 54
, is your answer.
