Water makes up 3.4 of a person's weight. If a student weighs 100 lbs., how much of his weigh is water?

Explanation:

To determine how much of a persons weight is water, multiply 3/4 by their weight.

weight of water = weight x 3/4

100 x 3/4 0r 100 x 0.75 ( same thing)

75

The student weighs 75 lbs underwater

P.S it's not 3.4 it's 3/4 = 75% of our body is made up of water.
