The length of a rectangle is 3 m less than twice the width, and the area of the rectangle is 65 m squared. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.

so.. check the picture, notice the length

then
\bf Area=l* w\qquad \begin{cases} l=2w-3\\ Area=65 \end{cases}\\\\ -----------------------------\\\\ thus \\\\ 65=(2w-3)* w

solve for "w" to get the width,

what's the length? well, l = 2w-3
