To find area of a rectangle, you multiply the length and width right?
A=LW
if L=1/2 and
if W=3/4
multiply those two fractions. To multiply fractions, you multiply straight across the numerator and denominator
(1*3)/(2*4)
you should get 3/8 which in decimal form is .375

The area of a rectangle is length x width.
1/2 x 3/4 = 3/8 or .375
