The human body consists mainly of three elements. About 1/10 of a body's weight is hydrogen, 16/25 is oxygen, and 1/5 is carbon. What is the weight of the hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon in the body of a person who weighs 134 lb?

Hydrogen = 13.4

Oxygen = 85.76

Carbon = 26.8

H= 13.4

When you multiply by 1/10 all you have to do is move the decimal point to the LEFT.

So... 134←. = 13.4
