What do the outer planets differ in

the outer planets differ in many many ways. this question looks a little incomplete. outer planets will be colder than the earth 'cos they're further away. They'll also probably take longer to orbit the sun.

The outer planets can be different from the inner planets because the outer planets are gas planets and are also much larger then the inner planets. They also take a longer time to rotate the sun and are colder then the inner planets. There are 8 planets in all since Pluto is a dwarf plant and Earth is the only planet that has contains life.
Hope this helps :3
