The actual length (L) of a rectangle is 27 centimeters.

Use the scale drawing of the rectangle to find the actual width (W).

The answer is C) 18 cm

To solve this problem do the following:

Use the proportion 2.4/3.6 = x/27 and cross multiply to get the equation 3.6x = 64.8; then solve x = 18 cm. I hope this helps and HAPPY VALENTINES

You just need to multiply the length with the ratio

for example, if the ratio is :2w : 3L , the actual width would be 2/3 x 27

= 18 cm
