The interquartile range is the difference between the upper and lower quartiles of a set of numbers. The approximate interquartile ranges for the scores of the two classes are: Class A: 89 - 66 = 23 Class B: 94 - 79 = 15 This shows that the spread in the scores of Class A is over 50% higher than the spread of the scores of Class B.
