Alright so this problem is like that other one i did where line RQx2 is equal to line SU

First we set up an equation

x+3=x-2

because line RQ is only 1/2 of line SU we multiple its side by 2 to get the new equation of

x+3=2x-4

step 1 subtract each side by 2x

-1x+3=-4

step 2 subtract each side by 3

-1x=-7

divide each side by -1

x=7

Next we plug in x (7) so 7-2=5

line RQ=5
