Within an ecosystem, there are different components that are part of it and that work together, and this interaction, ideally, creates an equilibrium in the ecosystem.

In the picture, we can see one abiotic factor such as the sun, that it's fundamental to the development of some biotic factors such as the producers. Some other abiotic factors could be water or minerals on the soil that plants use to survive. Later on, in the food chain, we can see how different types of biotic factors interact, being the producers eaten by the primary consumers, and so on. When the biotics factors die, they are decomposed by the decomposers such as fungi, producing organic and inorganic matter, closing the cycle.
