volume of a cone = πr²(h/3)
π=3.14
r=5
h=5

v = (3.14)(5)²(5/3)
v = (3.14)(25)(5/3)
v ≈ 130.8 in³

the last choice is your answer, 130.8 in³

Answer:

Option 4th is correct

130.8 in³

Explanation:

Volume of a cone (V) is given by:

V = (1)/(3) \pi r^2h .....[1]

where,

r is the radius of the cone

h is the height of the cone.

As per the statement:

A cone has a radius of 5 inches and a height of 5 inches

⇒r = 5 inches and h = 5 inches

Use
\pi = 3.14

Substitute these in [1] we have;

V = (1)/(3) \cdot 3.14 \cdot 5^2 \cdot 5

V= (1)/(3) \cdot 3.14 \cdot 125

Simplify:

V = 130.833334 in³

Therefore, the volume of the cone to the nearest tenth is, 130.8 in³
