In the formula for slope intercept form for this function f(x)=ms + b, where m is the slope and b is the y intercept. So the slopes are the same for both functions which means when graphed these functions will be parallel. The y intercept on the first function is +4 and the y intercept on the second function is -7. Therefore the first function has the greater y intercept.

If your using the formula y=mx+b than 3x+4 has a greater y intercept
