nsegmented soft body with bilateral symmetry. Presence of an internal or external shell. A toothed tongue (made mostly of chitin) called the radula. A mantle which is a fold in the body wall that lines the shell.

The body of molluscs is soft and unsegmented.
The body is usually enclosed in a calcareous shell.
The body is divisible into head, mantle, foot and visceral mass.
They have a single muscular foot.
They are found in water and live on land as well. Examples: snail, octopus, mussel, slug, etc.
