The division property of equality could be used to solve which of the following equations?

5x = 30
x + 3 = 7
(x + 2) (x - 2) = 0
= 16

Explanation:

The division property tells us that if we divide both sides of the equation by the same number the equality is kept (both sides remain equal). Only in the first equation we only have to make one division to get the result like this:


5x=30\\(5)/(5)x=(30)/(5)\\x=6

in the rest we cant get the result by just dividing both sides of the equation.
