In each box, 15% of the total candies are cherry flavored. In a box of 20 candies, how many are cherry flavored? Enter the missing value in the box to complete the ratio table.

Answer: There are 3 cherry candies in the box.


Explanation:

Given: The total number of candies in a box = 20

Since, 15% of the total candies are cherry flavored.

Then the number of cherry candies = 15% of 20

To convert percent into decimal , divide it by 100 we get

The number of cherry candies =
(15)/(100)*20=3

Hence,There are 3 cherry candies in the box.
