Forging for food, which was more often than not almost entirely fruits and vegetables. Meat was consumed, but more sporadically and not as often as we see today. For some people fish was the most convenient to hunt. After small cities had been established, it became prevalent among markets due to what was once scarcity, until it was eventually engrained into the different cultures. Some tribes obviously hunted more than others, due to the fact they had to make the most from their natural resources. We have to stop and realize that bread (made from Einkorn) hadn't been invented until a certain period in time.
