Yes she does have enough because if I rephrase the question which is Sasha wants to make 8 batches of soup. She has six pounds of potatoes. If 1 batch requires 3/4 pounds of potatoes. Does she have enough potatoes to make 8 batches. Ok we know that we have to turn the fraction into a decimal so the decimal for 3/4 is .75, right. So the way I do it since I know .75 is divisible by 8 and 6. We turn it into groups of 4 and each group has (2) .75 which is 1.50
1.50 equals two batches right. Multiply 1.50 times four and it equals the number of batches needed and the total potatoes.

Yes she does, because 6lbs/.75lbs = 8
