ignoring everything but the z's (because we can) we're left with
(z)/( z^(4) ) , which simplifies to
z^(-3) , so -3

Answer:

-9z^(-3) that is exponent on the variable z is
-3.

Explanation:

The given equation is:

(27x^2z)/(-3x^2z^4)

Simplifying the above equation by simplifying the exponents and the powers, we get

=
(-9z)/(z^4)

=
-9z^(-3)

Therefore, the exponent on the variable z is
-3.
