√(x+6) =x-6

x+6=(x-6)^2

x+6=x^2-12x+36
Subtract
x^2-12x+36 from both sides:

x+6-(x^2-12x+36)=x^2-12x+36-(x^2-12x+36)

-x^2+13x-30=0

(-x+3)(x-10)=0

-x+3=0 or
x-10=0
Plug 3 into the equation:

√(3+6)=3-6

3 \\eq -3
Plug 10 into your equation:

√(10+6) =10-6

4=4
So, your answer is:

10

Good luck with your studies, I hope this helps!~
