The leg of a right triangle are 3 units and 10 units. What is the length of the hypotenuse? Round your answer to the nearest hundredth

Hey there! This is gonna require the Pythagorean Theorem which is a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a and b in this case are the legs while c is the hypotenuse! So, we can just plug in the numbers we know!

3^2 + 10^2 = c^2

9 + 100 = c^2

109 = c^2

And then take the square root of 109 to get the hypotenuse.

10.4403065089 = c

Since we need to round to the nearest hundredth, though, it would be 10.44
