Answer: A.) Less than 0

Explanation: Spontaneous Reactions are the reaction in which the reaction moves more towards the product side.

It is the reaction in which there is a release of free energy and the the reaction will move towards the stable energy state.

Thus the ΔG for a spontaneous reaction must always be less than zero and E must always be greater than zero.

ΔG = change in gibbs free energy and E = electrochemical potential.
