10. 2 consecutive integers....x = smaller one, x + 1 = larger one
2(x + 1) = 3x - 15
2x + 2 = 3x - 15
2 + 15 = 3x - 2x
17 = x

x + 1 = 17 + 1 = 18
so ur 2 numbers are : 17 and 18
===========================
11. 2 consecutive odd integers....x = smaller one and x + 2 = larger one
5(x + 2) = 8x + 1
5x + 10 = 8x + 1
10 - 1 = 8x - 5x
9 = 3x
9/3 = x
3 = x

x + 2 = 3 + 2= 5
so ur 2 numbers are : 3 and 5
=========================
12. 2 consecutive even integers....x = smaller one.....x + 2 = larger one
1/2x = x + 2 + 2
1/2x = x + 4
1/2x - x = 4
1/2x - 2/2x = 4
-1/2x = 4
x = 4 * -2
x = -8

x + 2 = -8 + 2 = -6
so ur 2 numbers are : -6 and -8
