What multiplies to -36 but adds to -3

xy=-36

x+y=-3

x= -36/y

-36/y + y = -3

-36 + y^2 = -3y

y^2 +3y -36 = 0

I think you have to use quadratic formula to find the 2 values of y and then plug in for x
