The correct answer here is C. For the people who were living in the interment camps, life was, mildly put, difficult. They were caged like animals but even in those horrible circumstances the Japanese people tried to lead as normal life as possible. So, the picture of the smiling family demonstrates that. But that was not the only picture. The picture of young Japanese playing baseball also shows their resilience to their circumstances.
