set equal since both equal y anwway
x+4=y=-2x-2
x+4=-2x-2
add 2x both sides
3x+4=-2
minus 4 both sides
3x=-6
divide 3
x=-2
sub back
y=x+4
y=-2+4
y=2
x=-2
y=2
(x,y)
(-2,2)
