I'm curious why you use the word "model." As stated, your math problem invovles the multiplication of a fraction (2/3) by an integer (5). Write this problem as

5*2
----
3

and multiply out 5*2. Divide your result by 3 (that is, write 3 in the denominator, but do not perform the actual division). That's your answer.

Put 5/1 •2/3=3 1/3 because then you can times then and you will end up with 10/3 then you will need to divide them so you will have a whole number and a fraction still hope this will help
