multiply 2nd equation by -1 and add to first one
3x-y=16
-2x+y=-12 +
1x+0y=4
x=4
sub back
2x-y=12
2(4)-y=12
8-y=12
minus 8 both sides
-y=4
times -1
y=-4
(x,y)
(4,-4)
