let us take a peek at x = 14
hmm let us make a table :)

\bf \begin{array}{crllll} x&y\\ \textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash&\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\\ 14&-\infty\\ 14&-1,000,000\\ 14&-1,000\\ 14&-10\\ 14&-1\\ 14&0\\ 14&1\\ 14&10\\ 14&1000\\ 14&1,000,000\\ 14&+\infty \end{array}

so... hmm notice, x = 14 is really just a vertical line, no matter what "y" is, "x" is always 14

notice the picture there, that's x = 14, the blue line
now, notice also the point -4, 2

can you think of a line that's parallel to x = 14, the blue one,
and passes through -4, 2?
