Here, Ratio of Height to Shadow = 1.5 / 4
Let, the height of Statue = x

It is = 1.5 / 4 = x / 12
x = 12/4 * 1.5
x = 3 * 1.5
x = 4.5

In short, Your Answer would be 4.5 meters

Hope this helps!

Answer:

4.5 m is the height of statue

Explanation:

Given that Kris is 1.5 meters tall and casts a shadow 4 meters long. At the same time, a statue casts a shadow 12 meters long.

We have the object, the shadow length and the line connecting the top of object to the tip of shadow forms a right triangle.

This triangle will be similar from one object to other.

For similar triangles ratios of sides will be equal

Using this we say that

(1.5)/(4) =(x)/(12)

Cross multiply to solve

4x=12(1.5)\\x=4.5 m
