If a quadratic equation has solutions

x=a,x=b

Then

x-a=0\text{ and x-b=0}

Furthermore, the quadratic can be written as

\begin{gathered} y=(x-a)(x-b) \\ where,y=0 \end{gathered}

Therefore,

(x-a)(x-b)=0

Given:

a=-3,b=6

Hence,

\begin{gathered} (x--3)(x-6)=0 \\ (x+3)(x-6)=0 \end{gathered}

Simplify

\begin{gathered} x(x-6)+3(x-6)=0 \\ x^2-6x+3x-18=0 \\ x^2-3x-18=0 \end{gathered}

Hence, the quadratic equation is

x^(2)-3x-18=0
