We have to find the volume of the cylinder, where: r = 5 m and h = 147 m.
V = r² h π
V = 5² · 147 · 3.14 = 25 · 147 · 3.14 = 11,539.5 m³
Answer:
11,539.5 m³ of soil has to be excavated.
