The industrial revolution in Britain affected society, politics and the economy by increasing work output, creating the working class, dividing classes, having women began working, creating area specialization, seeing politics shift to appeal to working class men as they were now the majority of the people and current workers being unable to strike for fear of being replaced by immigrant workers. The population increased dramatically during the industrial revolution as well so cities and infrastructure grew rapidly
