Step 1) simplify the constants, so basically you are doing the 3-4 part and turning the equation in -8x-1>-1
Step 2) isolate the variable, first you need to add 1 to both sides to cancel it off then the equation is -8x>0. Next you divide both sides by -8, don't forget that when you multiply or divide by a negative you need to flip the sign which makes the equation x<0 because when you divide 0 by any number it is still 0
