1. 980 ÷ 100 = 9.8 = 1%
9.8 × 14 = 137.2
2. 50 ÷ 5 = 10 = 20%
10 ÷ 2 = 5 = 10%
20% + 10% = 30%
3. 78 × 5 (because 20% is 1/5) = $390
4. 6000 ÷ 100 = 60 = 1%
60 ÷ 2 = 30 = 1/2%
6000 - 30 = 6970
5. 25000 ÷ 100 = 250 = 1%
250 ÷ 5 = 50 = 1/5%
250 × 12 = 3000
3000 + 50 = 3050 = 12 1/5%
6. 75% is 3/4
12 ÷ 3 = 4 = 25%
4 × 4 = 16
7. 30/20 = 3/2 = 1.5
=150%
8. 20000 ÷ 100 = 200 = 1%
200 ÷ 4 = 50 = 1.4%
200 + 50 = 250
I hope this helps!
