I think thats the answer because its talking about the skunks in general.

I would say B, "The skunk's", because when someone writes apostrophe s, it is a form of showing possession, and the skunk's habit is a possession.
Also, it says "The raccoon's", so the writer must be talking about individual animals, so B would make sense.
