The law of conservation of energy is a law of science that states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only changed from one form into another or transferred from one object to another. In my personal opinion, lets think of a example like this water can produce electricity. Water falls from the sky, converting potential energy to kinetic energy. This energy is then used to rotate the turbine of a generator to produce electricity. In this process, the potential energy of water in a dam can be turned into kinetic energy which can then become electric energy.

The total energy of an isolated system remains constant it would be said to be conserved over time. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, instead it transforms from one form to another. Satellites in space and pendulums are examples of conservation of energy.
