(8a+4b)/(bc+2ac)
this when factorised gives
(4(2a+b))/(c(2a+b))
2a+b on the numerator cancels 2a+b on the denominator
it will give
(4)/(c)*1

(4)/(c)

4[2a+b]/c[b+2a] = 4/c.
