Marissa has twice as much money as Frank. Christina has $20 more than Marissa. If Christina has $100, how much money does Marissa have?

Answer:

Marissa has $80

Explanation:

are you sure its asking for Marissas money or Franks money? but its fine if its Marissa too

Christina: 100

Marissa: 20 less than her

So 100-20=80

And Marissa has $80

Just in case, heres how to find Franks money:

100-20=2x

subtract 20 from both sides

80=2x

divide by 2

40=x

And Frank has $40

If Christina has 20 more than Marissa, then you can subtract 20 from the amount Christina has.
$100-$20 = $80
Marissa has $80
