If a father 70 percent more money in his savings account than his daughter has in her savings account and the daughter has $4500 how much is in the father account?

There are two ways you could do it, one involves a calculator and one doesn't.

Calculator:
You would just do 4500 × 1.7 = $7650

Non-calculator:
First you'd divide 4500 by 10 to get 10%, which is 450. Then you'd multiply 450 by 7 to get 3150. Now you just add 4500 and 3150 to get $7650
