In the textbook we learned the definition of acceleration, a=Δv/Δt, and we learned that the cause of acceleration involves net force, where a=F/m.

Equate these two equations for acceleration and express, for constant mass, FΔt

the answer is a=Δv/Δt and a=F/m. so a= Δv/Δt =F/m
and then Δv m =F Δt
finally F Δt= m Δt (constant mass)
