Answer;
B) The particles slow down.
Explanation;
Matter is anything that occupies space and has weight. It is classified into three states namely;
liquid, solid and gases.
Gaseous states have particles that are far apart from each other thus they move faster with few collisions in the container they are contained.
Liquid particles on the other hand are partially apart from each other as compared to solids and gases, therefore the movement of particles is slower and the collisions are more than in the case of gases.
Therefore,
when gases are converted to liquids, it means they will become closer to each other and thus the vibrations will increase and the movement of these particles will also be slower than in the gaseous form.
