At the Rio 2016 Olympics, as in all Olympics, the flagship parade has two fundamental meanings: the first is to pass on the idea of the union of peoples, since it demonstrates hundreds of countries treading the same places, with a single Goal in mind: the sport. A second meaning is historical, since the Olympics represent a millennial event and the presence of the countries and their flags in the event are significant diplomatic acts. Hugs!
