We can say XY is one-fifth of XZ

If we find the ratio of XY:YZ then 1:4

Using section formula,

We need to find y coordinate of Y


y\rightarrow (5\cdot 1-6\cdot 4)/(1+4)


y\rightarrow (5-24)/(5)
