A sealed beaker of aqueous nickel sulfide was given to you by the local chemist and you put it on the window sill. after a few days, you notice that the mixture is getting thick toward the bottom. what is the nature of the initial aqueous nickel sulfide mixture, assuming that the temperature on the sill remained approximately constant?

The nature of the initial aqueous nickel sulfide mixture is 'Suspension'.

The above phenomenon happens only with 'Suspended solutions'.

A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which solute like particles settle out of a solvent like phase some time after their introduction.

Hope this helps!
