Patrick paid $275.60 for a canon printer. If he paid a sales tax of 6%, how much did the printer itself cost?

The printer cost is $292.14 because 275.6*6%=16.54 (rounded) and if we add the tax and non tax price together to find the price before tax, we would get 275.6+16.54=$292.14.
