the first republic to secede from Yugoslavia is :
Slovenia
The country started to shaken because of the world war and many part of it considering to seceded.
in 1990, Slovenia became the first one to do it.

The correct answer is
Slovenia.
Croatia and Bosnia gained independence later during the nineties after a series of wars, while Slovenia had it relatively easy and was the first.
