Answer: -7. *The answer must be have negative sign.*

Explanation:

First, do remove parenthesis first.

-11+4

Then, add/subtract by the numbers.

-11+4=-7

A zero pair is when one positive integer tile is paired with one negative integer tile and the value is 0.

Example: (-1)+1=0

l6l=6

l-8l=8

7+(-7)=0

Opposites have the same absolute value.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
