Jaylene wants to convince her parents to let her visit the mall during the busiest shopping weekend of the year. She claims that the mall is a safe environment. Below is the information she provided her parents.

There are security officers continuously patrolling the various mall entrances and shopping areas. The parking lot is well lit and monitored by surveillance cameras. She will use her gift card and then place it in her friend’s purse. The mall has an app that sends alerts and important messages. The mall provides charging stations for handheld devices so she’ll be able to communicate at all times.

B. Security cameras, alerts, and communication will always ensure someone's safety, but the misplacing of gift cards, in case her friends robs it when placed in the purse, doesn't support her claim.
