First you would need to add up all of the data given, then divide the sum by 9 because there is 9 pieces of data. So it would be 229/9=25.4444444 repeating.

Mean: Average of numbers in a set of data.

STEP 1: Add up all the numbers in the set of data. In this case, we would add

23 + 23 + 24 + 24 + 25 + 26 + 28 + 28 + 28 = 229

STEP 2: Divide the sum by the number of digits you added. We would divide

229 "sum of the numbers" by 9 "number of digits" and will get a quotient of

25.4444

-The mean for the set of data is 25.4444-
