SOLUTION

The slope of the line can be gotten using the formula

\begin{gathered} \text{Slope =}\frac{change\text{ in distance}}{\text{change in time }}\text{ = }(d2-d1)/(t2-t1) \\ \text{Taking two points on along the line we have } \\ \text{Slope = }(350-100)/(7-2) \\ \\ \text{Slope =}(250)/(50) \\ \\ \text{Slope = 50} \end{gathered}

The slope is 50. This means the distance increased by 50 miles for every hour.
